In 2018, I took an Operations Internship at Big Communications in Birmingham, Alabama with intentions to weasel my way into the creative department. No ad school. No portfolio. No resumé. Just an interest in the industry and too much bravado. And, well, it worked. Now, 7+ years later, I’m grateful to lead a team of talented designers, writers, video editors and animators working for clients all around the world.
